Terms and Conditions of Supply of Products Purchased Through JBSprings48.com

JBSprings48.com is a website designed to allow customer to order relatively small quantities of custom springs for rapid manufacture and despatch.  Each order contains one or more spring specifications and a corresponding quantity for each.

These terms and conditions set out below apply to all springs purchased via this website and supplied by the Seller and they may be changed without notice to you in relation to future sales.

We recommend you read them before placing your order and retain a copy for your records.

Description and Price of Goods

The specification, quantity and price of the springs are as set out in the order, which is generated during the checkout process.

The price of the springs includes delivery within the UK and Channel Islands.

The price of the springs is displayed exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) which will be added to the order at prevailing rate of VAT and shown during checkout.

Orders can be reviewed in the checkout process before payment, after which the order is emailed to the address provided by you in the checkout process.

Payment and Delivery

Payment for the springs is taken in full at the time of order.

The springs are made to order and we aim to manufacture them within 48 hours or 2 working days, whichever is longer, from receipt of order and subject to manufacturing capacity and delays outside of our control.  If we are unable to meet this aim we will inform you as soon as possible with a revised despatch date.

Our normal working hours are Monday to Thursday between 8am and 5pm and between 8am and 3.30pm on Friday.  These working days are based on UK time, excluding UK public holidays and our Christmas shutdown period. Orders received outside of these time will be deemed to have been received at the start of our next working day.

The springs you order will be despatched using a next-day courier service to the delivery address you provide when you place your order.

No contract exists until an order is placed and acknowledged.

Cancellation or Amendment of Orders

As the springs are manufactured to your specifications you do not have a legal right to cancel the order once it has been submitted (i.e. at the end of the checkout process after payment has been made).

In the event that you wish to cancel or amend your order after this time you should contact us as soon as possible and we will endeavour to accommodate your request.

Warranty and Liability

The Seller warrants that springs purchased via the website shall be free from material and manufacturing defects. This is the sole warranty in relation to the supply of the springs and no other warranties, express or implied, of any kind.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the specification of the springs ordered is suitable for the application for which it is intended.  The Seller will not be responsible for springs that do not fit a particularly purpose.

Any defect must be notified to the Seller within 60 days of receipt of the ordered springs.  The Seller will not be liable for any defects reported after that time.

The Seller’s liability under this warranty shall be limited solely to replacing the defective springs. Except to the extent caused by a spring defect under this warranty, the Seller, its employees, officers and directors will not be liable for any damages, claims or losses, costs or expenses arising from injuries to any person or damage to any property caused by or related to the springs supplied.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us by any of the methods shown below.  If you wish to raise a formal complaint this must be sent in writing to the address shown below and we recommend you send this using recorded delivery and keep the receipt safe for your records.
